If you do not have terms of engagement, we also suggest you to consult lawyer, check with the professional body or insurance provider so that your engagement letter has terms and conditions which will protect your business from adversaries.

You can copy-paste the content from your terms document to a textbox in Fresh Proposals or create a section by simply importing a PDF file if you do not expect changes sin the terms and conditions.

Check existing engagement letter templates

Customize Template

Once you find a template that you can work with, you can customize it completely. To customize the template, click on Edit template button shown above. It will open the template in editing mode.

You can add new sections, update or delete existing ones, reorder as you may feel right.

Use and update Placeholders/ Variables

One of the common mistakes happen when using Google Doc or MS Word as a template is previous client name and other details get copied to the next document and unless those are replaced one by one, you end-up-sending stale or document with incorrect information.

As mentioned above, you can include existing section from the library to your current template. You will need to click on the plus button on the top-left side to add section / open section library options. You can scroll through the list of sections or search from the list of sections available in the library.
