Enable Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) for your clients

Fresh Proposals now supports ‘Buy now pay later’ (BNPL) payment options using Klarna, Affirm enabled with Stripe integration.

You can enable this option in Fresh Proposals and in your Klarna/Affirm connected Stripe account.

Once enabled, your client will see Klarna/Affirm payment option in the payment option as shown below.

The next step shows further options for the client to pay.

Clicking payment option shows other set of options.

 

Improved top ribbon in case of new client UI

We have improved the new client view UI. In the new client view, top ribbon is displayed before s/he can continue to view the proposal. Top ribbon has basic proposal information like document name, who sent it (sending company, sender name) and a button to continue to view the document.

The custom branding (company logo) is well displayed on the top ribbon, shifting or movement of UI elements on the top ribbon while rendering UI has been addressed.

 

Page rendering is optimized for Preview, Client view + Editor view

For past few months, we have been working to optimize proposal rendering in editor as well as for the client view (Classic as well as new client view).

In case of new client view, the tool now displays page loader, it has also removed background UI elements displayed previously such as set of icons; skeleton of three column page (basically we removed not-so-informative, distracting aspects during initial rendering). While quick access to emailer is already made available in preview with a [Send] button  (the idea is, once you are happy with the proposal content as it appears in preview, you can send the proposal without going backward) few areas of performance improvement in the client view UI are identified in the new client view and we will be working on those.

Editing of proposal content is optimized for performance

As you make changes to your proposal document, Fresh proposals software automatically save those changes periodically. We have optimized the way document content is saved. Now only the changes you make to the document content will be saved instead of the entire document. Internally, we call it incremental changes or delta changes.

Ability to Create & Preview, Create & Send proposal on your smartphone

Last update we enabled you to skip editing proposal right after creation. You got options to preview or send proposal right after its creation. This was enabled for your desktops. This update, we have enabled similar option for your smartphones. Please note, editing of the document is still not supported on smart phone/ tablet devices. You can preview and send proposals using your smartphone and tablet.

We are aware of certain limitations of creating proposals on mobile, we have identified areas of improvement and will implement those in upcoming updates.

Fees table, Content table width change be increased in Legal, Letter, Landscape/Portrait mode

Increasing number of users are using legal, letter sized pages and in landscape orientation. With this enhancement, you can increase, decrease the width of your content table and fees table.

Fees table has this ability for a while, we have introduced similar feat for content table as well.

Reorder elements like Sections list , UI effect

Enabled and simplified the reordering of elements like sections list in proposal editor. You will notice a draggable/ reordering six-ellipse icon as you hover mouse over section name. Click-hold-drag it to the desired place in the sections list.

Similarly, in case you have missed it, the reordering capability is already made available to the following elements.

Click on the Switch button option again too unselect options

Last update we introduced Switch button as input block. Some of you wanted your client to select a specific option instead of pre-selecting anything for him. (think of it when this input is made mandatory and if there is some value is already selected, clients may not realize they have to select one of the values).

Clients will see un-selected switch options and s/he will be able to select one of those options or un-do the selection made simply by clicking on the same side of the switch.

Improved UI for Smart Section rules: selection of sections

As we are making progress with the smart section feature; we have improved the experience to select sections to be part of  the Smart Section Rule. Earlier it used to be a dropdown, now you can view thumbnail of the section, search for its name, select/unselect sections.

 

Note: The Smart section feature will be made available for general use later.

Stripe: Advanced % ‘Value in decimal’ not saved
Client View Options: Language is not saved when a proposal is created from duplicated template or existing proposal is copied. (Spanish user reported issue, he had to set language each time he creates proposal from a duplicated template)
In a particular use-case, when the document is completely executed (signed by all parties), the email notification sent to signees was missing Document Signed date – Fixed
