Fresh Proposals Software Update – December 2022

Most of the update in this month have been about enhancement of existing features and bug fixes.

New input form fields

We have introduced

• Radio button
• Multi-select checkbox
• Dropdown

Options in radio button:

• You can arrange it vertically or horizontally

• Set/remove options available in the radio button
• You can assign radio-button to client/ internal users to take action
• Make it mandatory for the client before accepting the proposal, contract

Options for Multi-select Checkbox:

• You can set/unset values for the multi-select checkbox
• Assign multi-select checkbox to the client or internal users
• Make it mandatory for the client before accepting the proposal, contract

Options in Dropdown field:

• You can set values for the dropdown
• Assign to client/ internal user
• Make it mandatory for the client before accepting the proposal, contract

Workspace Updates

Table/grid view for workspaces

You would have noticed that beside the card view, we have introduced a table or grid view for easy listing of workspaces.

Add users to workspace

Vice-versa

A selected user can be added to multiple workspaces. You can move over to the users listed in your main account and find ‘Assign Workspace’ button as shown below

You will be able to assign a given user to desired workspace(s) as shown below

Also whenever admin adds a new workspace to the account, it will be listed as an activity in the dashboard of t he main account.

Mark a given workspace as favorite/ default

You can set a default workspace and once you log in to your account, you will be taken to that workspace. You will be able to switch to other workspaces if you would like to.

 

Smart Section

This is one of those features we have been working on to help you create intelligent, personalized proposals. Smart section will display proposal content dynamically based on client’s industry, location,

To draw an analogy: if you have used/ are using Smart Content feature in the HubSpot’s Marketing Hub (available in HubSpot Marketing Pro or Enterprise plan), you will be able to relate this quickly. HubSpot users use smart content for dynamic emails personalization; whereas Fresh Proposals lets you put together personalized content dynamically in a proposal, quote, engagement letter, contract or other sales document.

Basically, with smart section, templates are taken to next level for personalization and putting document on auto-pilot mode. It also ensures that no outdated/stale content is used in a proposal and sent to client.

Once you define how for the smart sections should render (by setting up rules), Fresh Proposals software will do the heavy lifting to put together proposal content using section library at the time of rendering proposal for clients.

You will be able create a smart section in section’s list in the editor as shown below.

Once a smart section is created, you will be able to set rules. These rules will allow you to select & display sections from the content library for a given values of a field/ variable.

 

Smart Input Field

Smart fields is another aspect of dynamically displaying proposal content. It allows you to set up rules for display of dynamic content depending on the client input.

You will be able to use current input form fields, set condition, select content blocks in its section to display. As client enters input, s/he will be shown appropriate content as set by you.

Updated active proposal limits for Business tier

We have updated the limit for active proposals count for the Business tier. You can check the same in your pricing page (on website as well as in your account plan upgrade page)

 

Other bug Fixes

There are multiple issues we fixed as part of the last update. Here is the list of selected few.

• Comments navigation issue – fixed
• Rectangle properties – size label displayed incorrect label – Fixed
• Saving tiered pricing in case of multiple workspace has display issue – fixed
• Tiered pricing for SaaS type – discount, tax by value has display issue – Fixed
• Simple Tier, Unit Multiplier, Two unit Multiplier : Tax and Discount incorrect number when selected ‘Add On’

 

Quick Recap of (Previous) November 2022 Update

We released November 2022 update of Fresh Proposals software; we simplified the way to access section details without opening it in the editor mode, squashed an issue about renaming section in the sections’ list, tiered pricing package when drag-dropped to the page, is defaulted to 90% scale (you can change it) as you feel like . Plus there are a few bugs fixed in this update.
