We pushed many update to Fresh Proposals software in last couple of months, listing some of the features, enhancements release here.

Onboarding services

Previously onboarding and customization services for users of the software was available on request and we helped our users set up their accounts and created custom designed templates for them to use. With this version, we have started offering onboarding-customization service along with the initial account upgrade. Please contact your account manager if you need any assistance with these services.

Stripe recurring payment processed – Get notified in Fresh Proposals

Already have Stripe recurring payment set up using Fresh Proposals? When a scheduled recurring fee is successful paid, respective proposal or engagement letters in Fresh Proposals will display this information automatically.

No more chasing client for payment by raising new invoice each time, manual follow up to pay.

Recurring payment feature in Fresh Proposals automate payment processing for you. It saves great deal of time for you, improves cash flow and lowers account receivable.

Tiered Pricing Annual Fee : Display as monthly effective

Now you can showcase annual fee as effective monthly price. This is a common practice in SaaS software and also makes it easier for you to present your retainer pricing to prospective client and help them make an informed decision.

It is a psychological barrier when prospects views pricing for a year, however when they notice effective price they will have to pay per month, it lowers the resistance for the annual price.

We introduced a checkbox in creation wizard whether to display effective monthly price for your clients.

This option is available for yearly retainer and SaaS type of tiered pricing packages.

 

Once ticked, in preview you will see yearly price displayed as effective monthly. In the Fee summary block, it still shows yearly price that client will have to pay.

 

Access Proposals: Click to Switch Workspace

If you are have access to multiple Workspaces and keep switching those regularly, this feature will be pretty helpful for you.
Previously, system would not let user access the proposal if s/he is in a different workspace (e..g. someone who is logged in to multiple G-suite account and trying access emails/ send email for different email id).

However with this update, you will see a popup which will ask you to confirm switching to appropriate workspace. Let’s understand how it is going to work

You have access to Workspace-A and Workspace-B.

You are currently logged in to Workspace-B. You clicked on a proposal summary link in email, however this proposal belongs to Workspace-A.

You will be displayed a pop-up message as shown below and if you confirm switching to applicable workspace, it will automatically switch to applicable workspace and open proposal details for you.

Search custom fields in settings

To simplify life for users who have to manage range of custom variables on a regular basis, we have added a search functionality.

You can search a custom-variable in the applicable variable group and take appropriate actions.

 

Know payment gateway in email notification

Going forward, whenever your proposal payment is successful, the email you receive (as a proposer), will specify the payment gateway used as highlighted below.

 

Fee summary table has expandable/custom width

The width of the Fee summary table can be customized. You can increase it or decrease i (lower limit apply).

Redesigned & expanded view of fees library in Editor

We received tickets regarding usability of fee library in the editor (opens on right side panel, when you click on fee row and import/export fee). This was indeed an issue for users who have elaborate titles and descriptions.

We redesigned fee library in proposal editor for better usability as well as viewability.

Proposal custom variable : search fields, expand panel

For those who use custom variables extensively and wanted to quickly check/update specific proposal custom variables, this feature will help.

You can search for a desired proposal custom variables in the list and view/update it.

 

 

We also introduced optional expanded viiew for proposal custom variables. This will particularly help those users who have big-text values and those can be better viewed only in the expanded panel.

We are happy to see some of these enhancements are triggered based on feedback by real users 🙂

Search workspace by name, workspace sorted by name

We gave redesigned the menu/pop-up for switching workspaces.

The option to switch back to the Main Workspace was available previously; however you will have a quick access to it now.

The list of workspace is also sorted so that you can scroll-through the list and switch to desired workspace.

No problem, you can search for workspace name and switch to it instantly.

Other Enhancements

New icons for toolbar

Though this is not a major update, we have given a fresh look to the vertical toolbar you’d have seen in the editor, to add a textbox, signature, fee table, etc.

Quick Recap of (Previous) June-July 2023 Update

We released June-July 2023 update of this proposal software with new features such as recurring charge types, duplicating sections in section library, managing XY coordinates of content blocks in the editor, new category of custom variable, and there are other enhancement, bug fixes.
